April 2026 Updates

Wapsie Pines has finished the city mandated maintenance of the ditches along Union Rd. It turns out that the ditches from just south of Sonoma to almost 12th St. are designated as a water retention/runoff area that the HOA is contractually obligated(with the City of Cedar Falls) to maintain. We will be seeking bids from our mowing contractor to add this area to their mowing responsibilities. Residents whose lots are adjacent this area should no longer mow the ditch. The straw wattles at Sonoma and Union will remain until grass has been established. They will then be removed.

The 2026 Wild Horse Ridge HOA annual meeting is scheduled for 6 July 2026 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will once again be held at the Cedar Falls Public Safety building, 4600 Main St. in Cedar Falls.
